Two finger V sign, maybe 6 or 7 times in total. Not in the 'up yours' style, more of 'v for victory' style.

I have seen it on other vids too.

Just curious thats all. thought there may be an interesting story behind it.

I could only bear to watch the first 2 mins - sorry couldnt sit throught he whole 10 mins. its why I dont do tandem vid - and I saw peole making a sign with their thumb upright and the fingers clenched into a fist. Is this a strange tandemmaster/camerman sign language? What does it mean? Do we have to do it at Weston to look 'cool' like at Headcorn?

no no no - we cannot confuse them - they are still working on that odd facial one where the corners of the mouth are up higher than the centre,,,,you know the one,,,some sages call it the "cashback", others call it the "smile"

Was that a pratically empty lift they were taking up?

On that lift there was me and my wife doing tandems, two cameramen and 4 solos.

To save anyone looking through the whole vid, look at the 7 minute mark. As tandem canopy deploys, good clear v sign from camera man.

Do I detect a little tongue in cheek rivalry between dropzones ?? At least Weston has a forum, headcorn don't.

Have seen a few other camera men (tandem and non tandem) I think it's meant to be the "peace" sign, think some of them may have done a lot of jumping out in California!!!..

I did my AFF in San Diego, and they were doing that in both my AFF videos and my brother's tandem video.

Maybe the cameraman was telling the tandem master to straighten his legs to drive forward coz he was too lazy to do it himself?
