Tandem to help with confidence

Hi im thinking about a tandem to help with my confidence with the RAPS course, I have four done four static line jumps but feel with the first freefall about 3 jumps away that a tandem will help my confidence and make me feel safer when the time comes, I have had the wind tunnel recommended to me but i feel that getting used to the nerves in the plane and actual freefall with be more benificial, I already have the provisional membership (from doing RAPS), how much is it to do a tandem? Thanks, Matt |

Re: Tandem to help with confidence
Instead of doing a tandem, why not do your first level of AFF? At least that way, you're not strapped to someone. After all, when you freefall in your RAPS, you won't be strapped to someone.

mate, when youre here next come and find me, we can have a chat about tandem or AFF...ill sort something with the cost.
Tunnels are good for body skills but cant get rid of all the nerves...only some
Re: Tandem to help with confidence
Thanks Ash,
Im looking to do it this saturday, would this be an issue with the scrambles?
(Thanks for the patience, i seemed to be asking a stream of never ending questions)
I will pop down early on, hopefully with the intention of jumping, would i pay before the jump or once its done?
Matt

Hi Ash,
I was wandering if the offer is still open?
If it is would i be able to come down on saturday to do it?
Thanks,
Matt
