Doctor's Certificate advice please

I am in the process of getting the doctor form signed.

My local GP surgery receptionist has told me that I have to get booked in for a 30 minute medical with a doctor. They wanna charge me £80 !!

Is that what all you guys have to do or is there a better/cheaper/or even free way of doing it?

I took the BPA declaration of fitness along and showed them so they are aware of what it is.

£80 is VERY steep for doing diddly squat really.

And it is a TWO MONTH waiting list for a medical appointment. I have got a date in APRIL !!

 

I just wondered what all you guys do?

I popped in to see him, showed him the form and he said "sure, I'll do it".

Did'nt cost me a penny.
